In support of the RNLI’s #Mayday campaign, this weekend Wirral Amateur Radio Society (G3NWR) will be holding a special live ham radio broadcast using the callsign ‘GB2HLS’ (Hoylake Lifeboat Station) to raise awareness and funds around the world in support of the lifesaving work of our volunteer crews.

The broadcast was planned to take place live from our Mayday Car Wash on Sunday. Due to the current situation, we have had to cancel the car wash but we would like to thank all of the society’s members for going ahead with the broadcast from the socially-distanced safety of their club.
